TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Four Wildcats topped double figures as the Wildcats downed bitter rivals Florida A&M to open SWAC play with a 67-59 victory, Monday night at the Al Lawson Center.

The Wildcats (5-9, 1-0 SWAC) led nearly wire-to-wire thanks to four double-digit scorers in
Kevin Davis,
Zion Harmon,
Joe French, and DJ Carter-Hollinger.
The Rattlers (2-10, 0-1 SWAC) threatened late in the second half tying things at 55 with under three minutes to play in the second half, but the Wildcats wasted no time ending all FAMU hopes as they cruised to an eight-point victory.
Damani McEntire led the Wildcats with eight rebounds. Davis also added three steals and a block.

- The Wildcats made 20-32 free throws on the night. 32 marks the most attempts by the team this season.
