GRAMBLING, La. – The Wildcats find themselves in the bayou this weekend as they face a pair of SWAC contests against Grambling State and Southern.
The Wildcats will take on the Tigers on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup with the Jaguars on Monday, Jan. 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
Last Time Out
The Wildcats led nearly wire-to-wire as they overcame Florida A&M to open SWAC play with a win last weekend.

Scouting the Tigers
Grambling State is 8-6 to start the season, with a 1-1 start to conference play. The Tigers split a pair of contests in Texas last weekend, falling by a single point to Prairie View A&M before handling Texas Southern, 85-72, Wednesday night.
Cameron Christon leads the Tigers with 13.7 points per game. Carte'are Gordon averages nearly seven boards per game.
Scouting the Jaguars
Southern is 6-9 to start the season, including a 2-0 start to SWAC play. The Jaguars swept a pair of games last weekend, downing Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M earlier this week.
Bryson Etienne leads the Jaguars with 12.1 points per game. He has 21 steals this season.

- Damani McEntire ranks best in the SWAC and tied for tenth across all of D1 college basketball averaging 2.57 steals per game.
History
This will be the eighth ever meeting between the Wildcats and Grambling State. The Tigers hold a 5-2 lead in the series, but the Wildcats took the last meeting by a score of 69-63.
This will be the sixth meeting all-time between B-CU and Southern. The Wildcats are 1-4 in those games, winning the most recent contest, 87-84 a season ago.
