STILLWATER, OK - Oklahoma State got to the free-throw line 42 times while using a second-half surge to defeat B-CU at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
1st Half
Early in the first half, the Wildcats (3-10) took a 7-2 lead over Oklahoma State (12-1) after a
Daniel Rouzan dunk. The Cowboys would quickly respond with a 7-0 run to take the lead a the first media timeout.
The two teams would go back and forth for the next several minutes, until eventually, OSU began to increase their lead. Two free-throws by Jaylen Curry would stretch the advantage to 10 with 7:09 remaining. The Wildcats fought to keep within striking distance, but the Cowboys would go into the half up 50-38.
Both B-CU and OSU shot 46.2% in the half, but the Cowboys were able to use a significant rebound advantage and five steals to generate 13 more shot attempts.
Daniel Rouzan led the way for the Wildcats in the first with 12 points.
2nd Half
Oklahoma State never allowed B-CU back in the game as the Wildcats continued to struggle with rebounds and turnovers. The Cowboys found success getting to the free-throw line, accumulating 26 attempts in the second half alone.
Quintin Heady scored 16 points in the second and
Tyler Andrews had 10.
The Cowboys finished off their 12th win of the season, winning 103-77.
- B-CU had four players finish in double-figures (Q. Heady, J. Heady, Rouzan, Andrews). Quintin Heady led the Wildcats with 17 points.
- The Wildcats shot 6-for-16 from three-point territory in the second half.
- Bethune had 18 turnovers compared to just eight for the Cowboys.
- Anthony Roy finished with 27 points.
- Six Cowboys scored in double-figures.

Bethune-Cookman will begin their conference schedule against fierce rival Florida A&M at Moore Gymnasium. Tipoff is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST.
