The Tribe controlled the game in the third quarter, once again holding B-CU to a low shooting percentage. W&M shot 42.9% and won the rebounding battle 10-6.
The Tribe built a 12-point lead going into the fourth that proved to be the difference in the game.

The fourth saw the Tribe maintain their lead using strong shooting from the field and the free-throw line. The Wildcats scored 22 points in the quarter but were unable to go on a late run as William & Mary finished off the win.

The Jacksonville Dolphins are sporting a 7-3 record but are currently on a two-game losing streak. They suffered road losses to high-majors Texas Tech and No. 8 TCU. The Dolphins are 5-0 at home this season.
JU is led in scoring by Priscilla Williams. The graduate guard is averaging 13.0 points and also leads the team in rebounding at 7.8 per game. No other Dolphins player is scoring in double-figures.
Despite their strong record, the Dolphins have struggled offensively and on the glass this season, ranking in the bottom half of the country in both categories. Jacksonville has found success by winning the turnover battle. They rank in the top 100 in steals per game and turnovers per game.

This will be the 16th all-time meeting between Bethune-Cookman and Jacksonville. The Dolphins have the upper hand in the series having won 11 of the 15 games.
