LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman heads to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to participate in the inaugural HBCU Hoops Invitational. The Wildcats will play in the final game on Friday against Edward Waters which begins at 7:00 p.m. The winner will take on the winner of Hampton vs. Livingstone, while the loser will play the loser in the consolation game.

North Dakota State was able to dominate the Wildcats both offensively and defensively. They held B-CU to just 25% shooting for the game, while making 50.9% of their attempts.
The Bisons made seven of their seventeen three-point attempts, including two from Marisa Frost and Abby Graham.
NDSU also imposed their will on the glass, outrebounding the Wildcats 33-18.

Edward Waters is an NCAA Division II program located in Jacksonville, Florida. They have won their last three games after starting 0-3.
The Tigers played UCF in an exhibition and lost 66-55 on October 28th. This will be their second crack at a Division I opponent.
The leading scorer for the Tigers is senior Shcira Fowles, who is averaging 10.7 points and 10.5 rebounds. Fowles ranks 28th in Division II in rebounds per game.

The Wildcats and Tigers have played 27 times in their history. Bethune-Cookman lost the first matchup in 1977 but have won the last 26 in a row.
