NFCA Leadoff Classic presented by MaxBP.

"Stetson always has a great program, amazing field, and they do a wonderful job each and every year hosting the Hatter Classic. I really look forward to going over there – not just for the tournament, but also because of the way the tournament is run and the way they put on a first-class operation each and every season. It should be a great event, as always."
Â
"I want to see how we'll respond after some tough losses recently. Last weekend, we played some of the nation's best. That should prepare us in a number of different ways as we face another really good field of three teams this weekend in DeLand. But I am interested to see how we handle some tough losses, especially the midweek doubleheader the other day at home to UNF."
Â
"I told the team that the schedule doesn't get easier. It doesn't. So, they have to be ready to play each and every day or night. There are no off days, so to speak. We have to lock in, and I told them we had to do that last weekend right before the first pitch against Tennessee."
Â
"We know we have to hit better. And we know we've left some runs on the bases by not bringing them in when we needed them. That's all stuff that can be corrected. We just have to keep believing; playing our style; and more importantly, make sure, as coaches, we keep the team motivated. The runs will come, but we have to make sure they keep doing what we're asking them to do."
