Molly Blackwood, a freshman from Lutz, Florida, batted .571 last week as Bethune-Cookman swept a three-game SWAC series from Alabama A&M at Sunnyland Park in Daytona Beach, Florida. The product of Academy at the Lakes started as designated player in two games, while coming off the bench in the series-opener as a pinch hitter. Blackwood went 4-for-7 at the dish, including hitting her first career home run in the series-clinching second game over the Bulldogs. In the series finale, she was 2-for-3 offensively with one run scored and one RBI. Her on-base percentage for the weekend was 62.5 percent, as well as posting a 1.000 clip slugging. In all, she amassed four RBIs last week, going on to swipe her first stolen base of the year.

Emma Bradley-Tse gathered three putouts from her left field position on defense and went on to tally a team-leading .625 batting average last week for the Maroon and Gold. The junior from Richmond, British Columbia went 5-for-8 at the plate with three runs scored and supplied a team-high six RBIs. The McMath Secondary School alum had one double and gathered a .750 slugging percentage across all three games. Her on-base percentage of .700 was a team-high as she walked twice and later secured a team-most four stolen bases in five attempts on the base path. In the series finale, Bradley-Tse was a perfect 4-for-4 with the bat, scoring twice and knocking in a game-high four RBIs, respectfully. She would register a 5-for-5 day overall across both legs of the doubleheader against the Bulldogs.

Alyssa Lopez is earning her second SWAC Pitcher of the Week award of the 2025 campaign, as she went 2-0 in the pitcher's circle last week for B-CU at home to league opposition Alabama A&M. The right-hander from Fontana, California worked 9.1 innings across two games, picking up a complete-game victory in the series finale, culminating in a 17-0 win for the Maroon and Gold. Lopez finished the week with 11 strikeouts and allowing just one (1) unearned run - that coming in the series-opener, while scattering eight hits and walking just two batters. She held AAMU to .211 batting against her on the weekend and combined with teammate
Halyne Gonzalez as she tallied a 0.00 ERA throughout the series, respectively. She finished the series finale with a game-high seven strikeouts - the eighth time this season she has produced five or more K's against an opponent. Additionally, in that final game against the Bulldogs, Lopez scattered four hits over five innings on the rubber with just one (1) walk allowed.
