List Time Out Header
1st Quarter
Florida A&M (1-11, 0-1 SWAC) took a six-point lead over Bethune-Cookman (3-11, 1-0 SWAC) through a quarter of play, with FAMU's Tahnyjia Purifoy responsible for 11 of the Rattler's 16 points in the frame.

2nd Quarter
The Rattlers took their largest lead of the game at 29-17 midway through the frame on a Breazia Robinson layup, but the Wildcats held their own, trimming the deficit down to as low as 29-23 on a pair of Keiara Gregory free throws. A pair from the charity stripe by Dorsey sent the teams into the half with the Wildcats trailing, 33-25.

3rd Quarter
The Wildcats surged back in the third, connecting on 6-13 from the floor including a pair of threes while holding the Rattlers to only 11 on 4-14. Madison Holden nailed a contested jumper before Gregory got to the line again to make it just a one-point game through three quarters of play.

4th Quarter
B-CU took its first lead of the game at 47-46 with just under eight to play on two more from the line by Dorsey.

The Rattlers retook that lead, pushing it to four on a tip-in layup by Miya Giles-Jones with four to play. With only 13 to play, Sanai Tyler forced her way to the line, connecting on both free throws. A steal by Keiara Gregory gave the Cats the ball under 10, and Dorsey capped off the comeback with a layup underneath with two seconds remaining to give the cats the dramatic 57-56 win.

Scouting the Opponent In-Story Header
The Southern Jaguars are 6-7 on the season and picked up wins in their first two SWAC matchups against Prairie View and Texas Southern. The Jaguars are 2-7 on the road, but the two wins are against high-majors Arizona and Houston.

The leading scorer for Southern is sophomore DeMya Porter at just under 10 points per game. Zariah Hurston is their leading rebounder, averaging 5.1 per game, and Jaylia Reed is their most prolific three-point shooter, averaging two made threes per game.
