1st Half
Bethune-Cookman (4-10, 1-0) had a standout performance offensively during the first, shooting 61.3% and scoring 48 points. The Rattlers (3-9, 0-1) trailed for all but 48 seconds in the half, as they struggled to contain
Tyler Andrews.
Andrews finished with 14 first-half points, finding success from both inside and outside the arc. He also had two assists and five rebounds to help his team grab a double-digit advantage.
2nd Half
Florida A&M staged a furious comeback in the second half, eventually taking back the lead with 11:32 remaining. The Wildcats could not replicate their first half success from the field, particularly struggling from three-point range (2-for-11).
The Rattlers made several key three-pointers to put the pressure on B-CU late. But the Wildcats were able to retake the lead and hold off FAMU thanks to some strong defense and shooting from the free-throw line.
Arterio Morris picked up the slack offensively in the second, scoring 15 points and making key baskets late to complete the win.

Grambling State is 8-7 thus far on the season. They are the only SWAC team currently with a record above .500. The Tigers have won back-to-back games to begin conference play, a four-point win over Prairie View and a 17-point victory over Texas Southern. This will be GSU's first road SWAC test of the season.
The Tigers are led in scoring by freshman forward Antonio Munoz. He is averaging 13.5 points on 49.3% shooting. He also leads the Tigers in blocks with nine.
Grambling will deploy three players who have made at least 20 three-pointers this season. Rickey Ballard and Roderick Coffee III are each shooting 50% from beyond the arc on around three attempts per game.

The Wildcats and Tigers have face 15 times previously. Grambling has dominated the series to this point, winning 11 of the 15 contests, but B-CU has won the previous two.
