CATHEDRAL CITY, Cal. – B-CU Softball will face another early season challenge, as they travel across the country for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California. The opponents for the Wildcats will inlclude Utah, Rutgers, Texas Tech, Oregon State, and Long Beach State.

• Pitcher Mia Gonzalez is coming off an excellent weekend in Leesburg. In four games, the freshman allowed just two earned runs across 19.1 innings while recording eight strikeouts.
• Emma Bradley-Tse finished with seven hits in five games in Leesburg. She increased her batting average to .400 on the season.
• Aysiah Gonzalez drove in five runs during the weekend, which now puts her in the team lead in the category.

 

• The Wildcats are winless all-time against the Utes (0-4).
• B-CU is 1-5 against Rutgers, including a 3-0 loss last season in Cathedral City.
• B-CU and Texas Tech have faced just one time, with the Red Raiders winning 9-0 in 2023.
• This will be the sixth meeting between the Wildcats and the Beavers. Oregon State is 5-0 in the series.
• The Wildcats have faced Long Beach State just once, a 4-1 loss back in 2018.
