DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – B-CU and first-year head coach Demetria Frank have officially unveiled the complete 2026-27 women's basketball schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate that includes road contests against Utah, BYU, Utah State, Florida and Miami before the Wildcats begin Southwestern Athletic Conference play in January.
Coach Frank will make her long-awaited return to Moore Gymnasium on Monday, Nov. 2, as Bethune-Cookman opens the 2026-27 campaign at home against Florida Memorial at 7 p.m.
The Wildcats will then embark on a challenging five-game road stretch, beginning Nov. 5 at South Carolina State. B-CU will travel to Salt Lake City to face Utah on Nov. 9 before continuing to Provo for an 11 p.m. matchup against BYU on Nov. 11. The Wildcats will close the western swing at Utah State on Nov. 13 in Logan.
Bethune-Cookman returns to Daytona Beach on Nov. 19 to host North Florida at 7 p.m., followed by another home contest against Wright State on Nov. 24. The Wildcats close the month with a Nov. 29 road matchup at New Orleans.
December features six contests for Bethune-Cookman, beginning with consecutive home games against Webber International on Dec. 8 and another outing against New Orleans on Dec. 11.
The Wildcats will then travel to Gainesville for a Dec. 14 matchup against Florida before heading to DeLand for the Stetson Classic. B-CU is scheduled to face Towson on Dec. 20 and Longwood on Dec. 21 as part of the two-day event at the Edmunds Center.
Bethune-Cookman will close the non-conference portion of its schedule on Dec. 28 with a road contest against Miami in Coral Gables.
Following the conclusion of non-conference play, the Wildcats will open SWAC competition, which features the traditional home-and-away format. The slate begins on Jan. 2 at Florida A&M, and the Wildcats will remain on the road for conference contests at Southern on Jan. 7 and Grambling State on Jan. 9 They will then return home to host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Jan. 14 and Mississippi Valley State on Jan. 16.
The Wildcats travel to Alcorn State on Jan. 21 and Jackson State on Jan. 23 before returning to Moore Gymnasium for consecutive home games against Alabama A&M on Jan. 28 and Alabama State on Jan. 30.
February begins with road contests at Texas Southern on Feb. 4 and Prairie View A&M on Feb. 6. Bethune-Cookman will then return home for four of its next five games, hosting Jackson State on Feb. 11, Alcorn State on Feb. 13, Grambling State on Feb. 25 and Southern on Feb. 27. The Wildcats will travel to Alabama State on Feb. 18 and Alabama A&M on Feb. 20 during that stretch.
B-CU will close the regular season at home on Thursday, March 4, hosting Florida A&M at Moore Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
The 2027 SWAC Tournament is scheduled to begin March 8 at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
