Played high school softball under head coach Michelle Lazaro… Played the catcher position all throughout high school… Holds school record for most career hits doubles and highest batting average… Finished her career batting .572 overall with 159 hits, 91 RBIs, 48 doubles, nine triples and five home runs… Batted .603 as a senior… Scored 23 runs while registering 17 RBIs… Picked up nine doubles, five triples and three home runs… Collected a team-best 1.047 slugging percentage during the 2016 season… Named a team captain and team MVP in her senior year… Selected Burroughs High School Athlete of the Year… Tabbed Mojave River League Outstanding Student-Athlete… Second team all-league… Held a .688 batting average as a junior… Picked up 31 RBIs, 17 doubles, a triple and a home run… Posted a slugging percentage of 1.031 during the 2015 season… Had 11 stolen bases across the campaign… Team Captain and Team MVP as a junior… First team all-league… First Team All-CIF… All-state underclass performer as named as Cal Hi Sports… All-State Medium School (second team) as voted by Cal Hi Sports… Lettered in varsity softball all four years of high school…

Daughter of Julia and Evan Sherritt… Full name is Taylor Rae Sherritt… Has a younger brother, Jack… Intended major at BCU is Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science… Enjoys, hunting, fishing and shopping when she’s away from the softball field… First impression of BCU was that the school and the Daytona Beach area were amazing… Chose attend BCU because of the history behind such a historical school and being able to play for the Wildcats because of that… Pittsburgh Steelers are her favorite sports team… Enjoys watching Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal… Favorite meal is steak… Most prized possession is her phone… Says the biggest influence in her life has been her mother…
