This is the Premier Student Creative Organization in HBCU Athletics.
The CatEye Network is a dynamic hub within Bethune-Cookman University dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the creative talents of students in the sports media landscape. Through recruitment, development, and exposure, we empower B-CU students to excel in graphic design, photography, broadcast production, and social media management, among countless other opportunities within the realm of NCAA Division I collegiate athletics. At The CatEye Network, we're committed to providing hands-on experience, encouraging creativity, and fostering professional growth for the next generation of sports media professionals.

The CatEye Network is the lifeblood of Bethune-Cookman Creative. Under the tutelage of the B-CU Athletic Communications staff, CatEye students tell the story of each Wildcat athletic program, one season, one game, one pass, kick, shot, and pitch at a time. Whether it’s behind a camera or in front of a microphone, in the office or on the gridiron, the CatEye Network has its hands in every photo, graphic, and broadcast as we work together to tell the story of one of the nation’s most prestigious HBCUs.

- CatEye Communications: The real MVPs! Some of the biggest stars in sports operate behind the scenes! CatEye Communications is the place for the writer, public relations officer, statistician, or gameday operations manager looking to make a splash in the world of sports outside of the creative space. At the CatEye Network, there’s a place for EVERYONE.
At The CatEye Network, No Experience is Required! Creatives of any skill level are welcome, regardless of past experience. While students with multiple years in The CatEye program, prior work in the creative space, or established creative portfolios are more likely to be entrusted with more responsibility, The CatEye Network remains a platform for opportunity, training, and exposure above all else. Upon signup, you will be asked to provide a resume and portfolio, but don’t worry, there is a place for EVERYONE.
CatEye Network members are STUDENTS FIRST! You will never be asked to contribute beyond your means. All members will be asked to provide a class schedule, as well as any other regular obligations that may affect their work as a member of The CatEye Network. Something came up? Need extra time to prepare for finals? Don’t worry! Our staff will ensure that your work with B-CU creative will never place unnecessary burdens on your time as a student. Class, student organizations, greek life, and all of the other great opportunities on campus are a critical part of the Bethune-Cookman experience. It is our job to enhance that experience, not stand in the way.
The CatEye Network is a Volunteer Organization, but not without incredible benefits for students and alumni. The CatEye Network is a family, creating connections with B-CU creatives of today and years past. CatEye members have the opportunity to see their work posted across the B-CU social network, including Instagram, X, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, and the web. @CatEyeNetwork on Instagram is the organization’s home for student-run content, where members can build and display their creative portfolios for the world to see! Students are also encouraged to use their CatEye involvement for internship credit, at Bethune-Cookman or other institutions. As members, students may also receive CatEye Network and B-CU gear.
