Played his high school baseball at University High School under Coach Frank Martello, aiding the Wolves to a 19-7 season during his senior campaign, playing third, first and pitching…Batted .379 in his senior year with three home runs, with his best game vs. Matanzas (3/11), with a 3-for-4 batting performance and a grand slam…earned honorable mention All-Area as a senior…As a junior, he batted .435 and was named first team All-Area by the Daytona Beach News-Journal…Batted .309 as a sophomore…Held a .433 career batting average on varsity…Was a member of the UHS Honor Roll all four years

Cody Jonathan Killon was born on August 12, 1994 in Tampa, Fla. to David Killon and Shelly Turner…Outside of baseball, he enjoys fishing, playing paintball and hunting…He chose Bethune-Cookman because it was close to home the quality baseball program…Notes his best sports memory as playing Dixie Ball in Deltona, going all the way to the World Series and taking third place…As part of his game rituals, he always wears the same batting gloves and sliders…His favorite athlete is Luke Scott, who grew up in Killon’s hometown and fought through struggle to get to the majors…His most prized possession is his grandfather’s ring…Cites his biggest influence as his father, because he struggled to get where he is and took some losses over time, but he fought through them…Interested in a career as a physical therapist and is majoring in Biology at Bethune-Cookman
