Junior Year - 2012
Named First Team All-MEAC and earned Most Outstanding Performer honors at the MEAC Baseball Championships in Norfolk, Va. ...Started in right field for all 61 games of the season...Showed dramatic improvement at the plate, coming from batting .143 in 2011 to hit .306 in 2012 (third on team, tied for second in MEAC)...Collected 68 hits and a .428 slugging percentage, comprised of a team and career-high 14 doubles (second in MEAC), two triples and three home runs, while logging a team and career-high 47 RBI (third in MEAC)...He remained solid on the basepath, boasting a .417 on-base percentage and earning 95 total bases, successfully stealing in 13 of 19 attempts...caught 136 flyouts and made three assists, including one double play; co-leading the MEAC with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage for the second consecutive season ,with no errors on 139 chances...Led the team with an outstanding .383 batting average in MEAC play with a .506 slugging percentage, he logged eight doubles and 21 RBI, while stealing successfully with an 8-of-9 mark...At the 2012 MEAC Baseball Championships, Lee batted .391 in five games, with 11 RBI off nine hits, including two doubles...He had a season-high four hits vs. Norfolk State (5/18/12) at the MEAC Tournament, and season-high four RBI against Delaware State to close out the Championship (5/20/12)...He scored three runs of his own in two games, vs. North Florida (3/28/12) and Florida A&M (4/14/12)...Earned College Sports Madness MEAC Player of the Week honors (5/22/12)...Earned recognition on the MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team

Became a more regular part of the rotation in the outfield, appearing in 31 games for the Wildcats...Hit .143 on the year with two doubles and two RBI...Once on base, David proved to be among B-CU's top base runners, logging six steals in seven attempts...Made 38 catches in the outfield for putouts with no errors, for a 1.000 fielding percentage...Made three assists, including one of the most memorable plays of the year at Maryland Eastern Shore (11/30/11), grabbing a line shot in deep right and putting the throw right on target to the catcher's glove in the baseline, stopping the tie run en route to home for the double play
