The son of Glorisel Alicea and Armando Martinez, he was born August 18, 1993 in Puerto Rico...Earned French Honors in high school...Chose Bethune-Cookman for the baseball program and his major...Cites his parents as his biggest influence because, "they are hard workers and they always believed in me"...Has his goals set at getting into the MLB draft, but first at B-CU is looking to become a great player, get an education, and go all the way to the NCAA Championship...Is the first in his family to play an NCAA Division I sport...He is majoring in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman and is interested in attending law school after graduation
