Junior College: A three-time All-American for SPC...competed in all eight 2011 meets...earned All-America honors for finishing sixth and helping the Lady Texans to a fourth-place team finish at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships and for a second-place finish that helped the Lady Texans tie for the NJCAA Half-Marathon Championship...competed in eight cross country meets for the South Plaines College Lady Texans in 2010, earning one All-America award as a freshman...she finished 43^rd at the NJCAA cross country championships and 32^nd at the NJCAA half marathon championships...helped lead SPC to a third consecutive Outdoor title at the NJCAA Outdoor National Track and Field Championships in 2011, finishing eighth in the NJCAA Championship 1500M Run with a season best time of 5:02.60...in 2011 Indoor, she arned All-America honors running the 400M portion of the distance medley relay, helping the Lady Texans to a second place finish...qualified for the NJCAA Championships with a season best time of 3:11.39 in the 1000M Run...finished 13^th overall at the NJCAA Championships in the 1000M Run with a time of 3:14.73.

High School: Graduated in 2010 ... Participated in cross country and track ... boasts personal records of 5:23 in the 1,600; 2:17 in the 800; 12:10 in the 2-mile (XC); and 19:09 for 3-miles (XC).

Personal: Born March 24, 1992 in El Paso, Texas, Kirsten is the daughter of Danny and Renee Taylor and she has one sibling...chose SPC because of the strong nursing and athletics program...favorite athlete is Tyson Gay.
