2013-14 Outdoor Track (Freshman)
Opened her first collegiate outdoor season with a one mile run of 5:22.72, a personal best, for the 23rd-place finish at the CCU Shamrock Invitational (3/21)...Pan set her top time in the 800m at the Savannah State Twilight (4/2) with a mark of 2:22.62...At the University of Florida’s Tom Jones Invitational (4/19), Pan set a personal best in the 1,500m run, coming in 13th in a time of 4:55.57...Pan built on her 5,000m progress during the indoor season and rose to a second-place, career-best mark of 18:21.42 at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Outdoor Track Championships (5/2) at North Carolina A&T’s (N.C. A&T) Irwin Belk Track...Pan earned Second Team All-MEAC honors.
2013-14 Indoor Track (Freshman)
Began her inaugural track season at Bethune-Cookman with a 5:39.90 mile at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (1/17) at the University of Florida, also joining B-CU’s 4 x 400m relay for the meet...Recorded her top indoor season times in both the 800m (2:24.82) and 5,000m (18:59.01) at the Bob Pollack Invitational (1/31-2/1)...During the MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Prince George’s S&L Complex (PGSLC) in Landover, Md., Pan finished fourth in the 3,000m with a season-best time of 10:44.05 and finished 10th in the 5,000m in 19:37.39.
2013 Cross Country (Freshman)
Opened her collegiate cross country career with a seventh-place finish in 15:01.00 on the 3,686m course at the JU Short Course Duals (8/30)...Pan showed steady progress across her rookie campaign, reaching a season-best 5k mark of 19:20.40 to finish 10th in 14th Annual FLRunners.com Invitational (9/27) at Chain of Lakes Park (Titusville, Fla.)...Pan closed her inaugural B-CU season with a 5k time of 20:24.50 and 37th place finish at the MEAC Cross Country Championships in Princess Anne, Md., on the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES)...Pan earned MEAC Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week on October 2.
High School
Ran cross country and track under Karen Reardon at South Portland High School, serving as a team captain for the Red Riot from 2011 to 2013 for both CC and Track, and earning Team MVP for three consecutive seasons...Pan set the track school records in the 800m in both indoor and outdoor, and in the 400m outdoor...In cross country, Pan placed in the top fifteen at the Maine state meet three times, most recently aiding SPHS to a sixth place finish at the State meet in cross country and third place indoor track conference finish... Named conference cross country Runner of the Year in 2012 after claiming the Regional title...Earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a freshman and was listed as first team all-conference in her sophomore, junior and senior years...Pan was an Honor Roll student each year of high school.

Born January 1, 1995 in the Sudan to Nyarik Toang, Nyajock Pan came to Bethune-Cookman from South Portland, Maine...She has four siblings, Gatthak (28), Reath (26), Gatouch (16) and Nyapan (11)...Off the track, Pan likes to swim, read, ride her bike and hang out with friends...Notes her most notable sports memory as when her high school coach started to cry after Pan won her conference meet...Pan is majoring in Nursing at Bethune-Cookman.
