2016-17 (Freshman)
Participated in four events while battling through injuries during his freshman season… Played 11 total rounds on the season… Registered a 77.73 stroke average across the season… Held a 6-over relative to par score for the year… Saw his first action in the Homewood Hilton Airport Invite, firing a three-round 228 (77-76-75) to claim a share of 19th place overall… Tied for 14th in the SSU Tiger Fall Invitational, firing rounds of 78, 75 and 80 across the two days of competition… Recorded a 158 (79-79) to finish tied for 63rd at the Wofford Invitational… Finished the year in eighth place at the PGA Minority Collegiate National Championship during the Independent portion of the annual tournament… Carded rounds of 77, 78 and 81 in three days of golf…
High School/Prep
Attended high school at Chudleigh House School… Only amateur/junior golfer to make the cut at the 2015 Zambia Sugar Open in 2015… Won the Lusaka Men’s Open Championship in 2014… Also won the Taj Pamodzi Hotel Challenge in 2014… Served as the first place amateur and third overall at the National Sports Council of Zambia Pro-Am Invite… One of just three people in the history of Zambia to have won the Lusaka Men’s Open as a junior golfer, while being just 17 years of age at the time… Helped lead his team to a 4-0 match play record for state matches while playing with Lusaka Golf Club… Won the 2013 Spur’s Zambia Junior Open… Still holds the record for the most consecutive junior monthly medal tournaments at Lusaka Golf Club with nine in a row… Went a stretch of 23 consecutive rounds of even par or better… Received the Headmasters’ Award for Exemplary Leadership and Community Service… Also received the Academic Excellence Award… Picked up the John Mwanakatwe Award for Outstanding Academic Performance…
