2017-18 (Freshman)
Completed his first season as a collegiate student-athlete with a 75.13 average… Ended the year third on the team in total average… Used a three-over relative to par average on the campaign – third-lowest on the squad in that department… Participated in eight events… Amassed 1,728 strokes across 23 total rounds on the course… Posted three (3) top 10 finishes, as well as a pair of top five appearances… Had a low round of 70 on the season… Did not participate in any fall events… Began his collegiate career at The Invitational at Savannah Harbor (75-76-70), producing a five-over par scorecard with his first 2-under 70 round on the final day of the competition… Finished tied for 25th out of 83 competitors in his first collegiate event… Took a tie for 23rd in the Stetson Legacy Intercollegiate (70-75-79), turning in another 2-under 70 round to open the tournament in DeLand… Finished ninth for his first top 10 finish in the BCU Gary Freeman Spring Invitational (76-76-76)… Tied for fourth out of 88 participants in the Lonnie Barton Invitational housed at LPGA International… Turned in a pair of book end even par 72 rounds in the FAU Spring Championship (72-79-72) where he finished tied for 65th in the field of 114… Claimed a tie for 18th in his first-ever Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships hosted by Savannah State… Had rounds of 77, 79 and 75, respectfully at the MEAC Championships, helping the Wildcats to a runner-up trophy in the process… Produced his highest finish of the year with a third place mark in the PGA minority Collegiate Championship (74-71-72) as he helped the BCU Men’s Golf team to a championship trophy in the tournament…
High School/Prep
Attended Kwalikum Secondary School… Moved to Qualicum Beach in British Columbia for his final three years of high school… Prepped under head coach Butch Gayton at Kwalikum Secondary… Instrumental in helping the Kwalikum Kondors capture their third provincial crown as a sophomore… Garnered the individual provincial AA championship…Named MVP of his golf team in 2016 and ’17, respectfully… Competed in BC as an amateur in 2017 to finish in the top 25 of an event… Premier Junior Golf Tour season opening champion in 2017…
