Played his high school golf under head coach Bob Parker at Willow Glen High School in San Jose, California… Helped his team to a first and second place title in the BVAL Championship in 2015 and ’16, respectively… In 2015, played in the U.S. Open qualifier at Ruby Hills Golf Course in Pleasanton, California earning an alternate spot with a score of 72 (par)… Picked up a total of 12 first place wins, seven (7) second place and five MVP awards throughout his prep career… Chosen by NCGA in 2015 for a scholarship to the Jim McLean Golf Complex in West Palm Beach, Florida... Invited for two years to participate in the Bill Dickey Invitational in West Palm Beach Florida at the Ibis Golf Club… Represented NCGA Youth on Course by appearing on the cover of Junior Golf Magazine issue 2017 January…

Son of Bretta Hembree and Ronnie McDowell Sr…. Hobbies include playing basketball and listening to music… Favorite sports memory is being selected at the age of 16 to represent the First Tee of Silicon Valley in the 2015 Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, California… Paired with Jesper Parnevik and appeared on The Golf Channel… Favorite sports teams are the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors… Lists Happy Gilmore as his favorite movie… Says his parents are his biggest influence in life because his mother is the strongest woman that he’s ever known because of the way she fought and defeated cancer; and his father has given up all of his free time after work and on the weekends to coach him in the game of golf… Once had a hole-in-one at the age of 12 at Eagle Ridge Golf Course…
