Prior to B-CU
- Attended West Orange High School, running track under head coach Adolph Morris.
- 2016 Metro and District champ in the 800m.
- 2018 regional runner-up in the 800m.
- State runner-up in 4x400 in 2018.
- Set the school record in both the 800m and 1000m in 2019.Â
Personal
- Born on July 16, 2001 in Orlando, Fla.Â
- Daughter of Carol Morris and Tharon Mayes, as well as Stepfather Adolph Morris.Â
- Has five siblings, Shanay, Brianna, Samara, Tyrus, and Vera.Â
- Mother, Carol, was an All-American in track for Florida State.
- Father, Tharon, played in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers. He is in the Florida State Athletics Hall of Fame after averaging 16.4 points per game and 132 steals from 1987-1990.Â
- Sister Shanay competes in track and field for Florida A&M.
- Sister, Vera, competes in track and field for the University of Kentucky.Â
- Majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.
