2013-14 Outdoor Season (Sophomore)
Johnson earned her first Outdoor victories of the season at the North Florida Invitational (4/26), running an 11.44 to top the 100m and a wind-aided career-best 23.18 for the gold in the 200m...Johnson successfully defended her Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) 100m title at the MEAC Championships (5/1-5/3) at North Carolina A&T’s (N.C. A&T) Irwin Belk Track, running a career-best 11.29 for first place...In addition, Johnson earned fourth place in the 200m with a wind-aided 23.37, also helping the 4 x 100m relay squad to a third-place finish and the 4 x 400m team to 10th...Garnered  First Team All-MEAC honors for the second time...Attempting a late-season qualification, Johnson ran a season-best 400m time of 56.33 at the Georgia Tech Invitational (5/16-5/17)...Advanced to the to the quarterfinals in both the 100m and 200m at the NCAA East Preliminary Round (5/29-5/31) in Jacksonville, Fla., finishing sixth in the 200m in 23.47 and fifth in the 100m in 11.32...At the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (6/11-6/14) in Eugene, Ore., she finished 18th in the 100m (11.45) and 22nd in the 200m (24.12)...Named MEAC Track Athlete of the Week (4/30).

2013-14 Indoor Track (Sophomore)
Johnson earned her first victory of the Indoor season in the 200m at the Southern Miss Invitational (1/30) with a time of 24.77, also running a season-best 400m time of 58.61, finishing seventh...Ran a season-best 55m at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (1/17), finishing fifth...Logged a career-best 60m time of 7.42 at the Bob Pollack Invitational (1/31-2/1), finishing second...At the MEAC Indoor Championships at the Prince George’s S&L Complex (PGSLC) in Landover, Md., Johnson ran a season-best time of 24.30 in the 200m final to finish second, also earning the silver medal in the 60m with a time of 7.43...Johnson also aided the B-CU 4 x 400m squad to a sixth-place finish at MEAC...Garnered Second Team All-MEAC honors...Competed at the USA Track & Field (USATF) Indoor Championships (2/21) in Albuquerque, N.M., finishing 19th in the 60m with a time of 7.54.

2013 Summer Track (Freshman)
Competed in the USA Track & Field (USATF) Senior Nationals at Drake Stadium (Des Moines, Iowa), finishing 26th in the 200m in 23.83...Johnson was named as a Team USA member for the World University Games at Central Stadium in Kazan, Russia, opening competition in the 200m by advancing to the final before finishing fifth in a time of 23.32...Named to the squad during pre-meet training, Johnson anchored the Team USA 4 x 100m relay to the event final, where she joined Vashti Thomas (Academy of Art University), Aurieyall Scott (UCF) and Jade Barber (Notre Dame) for a second place finish in a time of 43.54.

2012-13 Outdoor Track (Freshman)
Johnson opened her collegiate Outdoor career at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (3/1-3/2), competing in the 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m relays, with a victory in the 100m (11.81)...Ran a collegiate career-best time of 55.48 in the 400m at the Miami Hurricane Invitational (3/15-3/16)...At the MEAC Championships at N.C. A&T, Johnson earned her first MEAC Championship title in the 100m, with a time of 11.62, also finishing third in the 200m with a career-best 23.21, while also aiding the B-CU relays to a fifth-place finish in the 4 x 100m and eighth in the 4 x 400m...Advanced to the quarterfinal in the 200m at the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round in Greensboro, N.C., finishing 16th with a time of 23.75, also coming in 25th in the 100m in a season-best time of 11.58...Garnered First Team and Third Team All-MEAC honors.

2012-13 Indoor Track (Freshman)
Made her collegiate Indoor debut at the UAB Blazer Indoor Invitational (1/10) in the 400m, finishing eighth in an Indoor season-best time of 57.73...Earned her first collegiate victory at the Gamecock Indoor Open #2 (1/23), winning the 55m in 7.07, but ran her career best in the event at the Florida Gator Invitational (1/17), running a 7.01 to finish second...Ran a season-best 200m time of 24.53 at the Armory Collegiate Invitational (2/1-2/2)...Finished third in the 60m at the MEAC Indoor Championships at the PGSLC, logging a season-best time of 7.50, also coming in fifth in the 200m and aiding the 4 x 400m relay team to a ninth-place finish...Garnered Third Team All-MEAC honors.

High School
Johnson was a state and national standout at Ed White High School, with summer amateur work for the Young Achievers Sprint Club...Graduated EWHS with school records in the 55m (7.11), 100m (11.28), 200m (23.47) and 400m (56.68)...During her senior season, Johnson earned FHSAA 3A District 2, Region 1 and Outdoor State Final Championships in both the 100m and 200m, running times of 11.81 and 23.80, respectively, to garner her State titles...Less than a month after the state championships, Johnson ran a first-in-nation wind-aided 11.28 in the 100m to win the Golden South Classic (5/26/12) ...Earned All-First Coast and All-Florida honors...Johnson was named to the Adidas Dream 100 and finished sixth in the 100m at the Adidas Gran Prix (6/8/12) in 11.65...Throughout high school during the summer, Johnson appearing at the USATF Outdoor Championships (Youth in 2010, 2011), with a fifth place finish at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships the summer before coming to B-CU...In addition, Johnson won the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU) National Club Championships in the 200m in 2011, finishing third in the 100m, and also finishing first in the AAU Area 7 National JO Qualifier in 2010...Johnson was named to the USA Today All-USA team, Milesplit’s People to Watch list and appeared in the December 2012 issue of Track & Field News, ranked second in the nation in the 200m dash.

Born Tristie Cashay Johnson on November 20, 1993 in Jacksonville, Fla., she is the daughter of Christopher Johnson and Casha Winters...Says she wanted to go to Bethune-Cookman since 10th grade and its proximity to home was a big factor...Notes Sanya Richard-Ross, Allyson Felix, her mom, coach and sister as her biggest influences, because they showed that you can come a long way from nothing...Johnson is the second person in her family to go to college...For competitions, she has to wear pink socks and wear her watch...Johnson is majoring in Accounting at Bethune-Cookman.
