Ronni Williams Headshot 2025-26

Ronni Williams

Ronni Williams enters her third season with the Bethune-Cookman women’s basketball program, continuing her role as an assistant coach.

A Volusia County native, Williams returned home to join the Wildcats prior to the 2024-25 season. Before arriving in Daytona Beach, Williams spent time at Calvary Christian in Ormond Beach, Florida.

A standout student-athlete at the University of Florida, Williams was selected in the second round of the 2017 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever. She went on to enjoy a professional playing career overseas, competing in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, France, and Russia.

During her collegiate career with the Gators, Williams earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mention honors and was named First Team All-SEC, in addition to being a WBCA Coaches’ All-America Regional Finalist. As a junior in 2015-16, she became the first player in program history to lead the Southeastern Conference in scoring, averaging 20.1 points per game while earning All-SEC Second Team recognition.

Williams finished her career at Florida with more than 1,400 points and over 800 rebounds. She was one of the most consistent performers in program history, scoring in all but one game during her collegiate career and becoming just the third player in school history to lead the team in scoring in three seasons—while being the first to do so in three consecutive years.

Before her collegiate career, Williams starred at Atlantic High School under head coach George Butts, earning News-Journal Player of the Year honors and McDonald’s All-America recognition as a senior.
