Biography

Redshirt Senior (2024)
  • Played in 51 games and drew a start in 50 of those contests, primarily as catcher
  • Batted .295 in her first season with the Wildcats, finishing fifth on the team with 36 hits and tallied three (3) doubles
  • Added 23 runs and recorded eight RBIs
  • Was one of the four hardest players to strike out in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) with just four strikeouts in 122 at-bats
  • Had the fourth-best on-base percentage (.368) on the squad
  • Pulled in 240 putouts and 33 assists at the catcher position, using a .975 fielding percentage
  • Swiped six bases in seven attempts
  • Laid down seven successful sac bunts/hits
  • Went 2 of 4 at the plate versus Colgate (2/16) with her first double of the year
  • Had a 2-for-4 afternoon in a series opener against Mississippi Valley State (3/10) with two runs, a double and an RBI

Colegio La Union/Prep
  • Her high school did not have a softball team, but she competed with the Peruvian National Team system since she was 13 years old
  • Earned two silver medals with the U-15 team and two bronze medals with the U-18 team
  • Participated in the U-19 World Cup Championship in 2017 and the Pan American Games in 2020
  • Played in the Pre-Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games
  • Selected as the best third baseman in 2015 and the best scorer in 2016
  • Also played for the Aelu Club Team
  • Selected as the Tiemi Yajima Standout Catcher in 2012 and Best Catcher in 2013
  • Led Aelu to the opening and closing championship titles every year from 2011-19
  • Named the Best Catcher eight times in the opening and closing championships, while stealing the most bases five times, and being named the Best Scorer four times
  • Also competed on the debate club and on the soccer, volleyball and baseball teams at Colegio La Union
