2017-18 (Junior)
Participated in six events on the campaign… Knocked down a total of 3,632 pins on the year… Took part in 24 traditional matches, as well as 40 baker games… Averaged 151.33 in her first season with the Maroon and Gold… Began the season averaging 164 at the FDU New Jersey Jamboree, including a season-best game of 199 in traditional play… In the first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Southern Division event of the year, averaged 140.67 in three games… Played in all five games during the Hornet Classic hosted by Alabama State… Grabbed a high game of 166 in the event held in Montgomery, Alabama… Averaged 167.33 in three games as part of the second MEAC Southern Division event of the campaign… Also carried a 149.80 average across five games in the Stormin’ Ladyjack Classic hosted by Sam Houston State… Picked up a high game of 164 in that event… In the third and final MEAC Southern Division, averaged 155.67 with 467 pins through three games, using a high game of 179 in the process… Served on all six baker matches in the three different MEAC Southern Division events…
Before Bethune-Cookman
Attended Hampton University prior to Bethune-Coookman… Bowled for the Lady Pirates program for two years prior to the program being canceled at the end of the 2016-17 season…
High School/Prep
Attended Swartz Creek High School in her hometown of Swartz Creek, Michigan… Prepped under Head Coach Jody Sorsen… Captain and anchor as a junior and senior… Bowled a career-best game of m279 during her junior campaign…
Personal
Daughter of Roy and Beverly Cummings… Has a brother – Phillip, and a sister – Tiffany… Enjoys makeup and exercising away from the bowling alley… Member of the Dean’s List at BCU… Chose Bethune-Cookman because of the scholarship and the opportunity to bowl again after her previous institution cancelled the program… Superstitions include not drinking coffee, chew gum and have snacks a plenty…
