Brandon Woods enters his first season as Co-Special Teams Coordinator and Tight Ends Coach at Bethune-Cookman University after serving as the Wildcats' Director of Football Operations and Assistant Wide Receivers Coach during the 2025 campaign.

In his previous role, Woods worked closely with Head Coach Raymond Woodie Jr. in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the football program while assisting with recruiting, compliance, academics, finance, and team logistics. He also collaborated with the Wildcats' strength and conditioning staff on player development, managed the program's summer camp operations, supported fundraising initiatives, and assisted with the development of the wide receivers and special teams units.

The Wildcats enjoyed one of their most successful seasons in recent years during Woods' first year on staff, finishing 6-6 for the program's winningest season since 2019. Bethune-Cookman posted its first undefeated home record (5-0) since 2008, earned its first Florida Classic victory since 2019, defeated Southern University for the first time in seven years, and recorded its first 4-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) mark since 2018. Offensively, the Wildcats finished second in the SWAC and ranked among the FCS leaders in passing offense, while the special teams unit led the conference in kickoff returns behind First Team All-SWAC return specialist Javon Ross, who finished the season ranked No. 1 nationally in the category.

Before joining the Bethune-Cookman staff, Woods served as assistant football coach at Leesburg High School in Florida, where he coordinated special teams, coached the defensive backs, and oversaw the strength and conditioning program.

Prior to his time in Florida, Woods spent three seasons at Westmoreland High School in New York, including one season as head football coach and offensive coordinator. Under his leadership, Westmoreland returned to the postseason for the first time in two years while producing the school's first All-State player in five years, along with multiple all-section selections. During his tenure, he also served as head coach of the varsity volleyball and junior varsity baseball programs.

Woods began his collegiate coaching career at his alma mater, Utica University, where he served as Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach from 2021-23. During his time with the Pioneers, he coached multiple Empire 8 All-Conference performers, helped the program to a school-record 10-win season in 2022, produced four Empire 8 Special Teams Players of the Week, and assisted with recruiting throughout New York and surrounding regions.

As a student-athlete at Utica from 2016-20, Woods was a three-year football letterwinner at wide receiver and long snapper. He served as a two-time Leadership Council member and was part of the program's first bowl victory, winning the 2018 ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl.

A native of New York, Woods earned his bachelor's degree in Wellness and Adventure Education from Utica University in 2020 before completing a master's degree in Health and Physical Education in 2021.
