Isis Collier is beginning her third year at Bethune-Cookman working as an assistant athletic trainer.
A dedicated athletic trainer, Collier works closely with the Wildcats football, volleyball and softball programs through comprehensive sports medicine care. A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Collier combines her expertise in athletic training with a deep commitment to community, education, and performance.
Collier earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science and Music Performance from Cornell College, later earning her master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Central Florida.
In the summer of 2023, Collier gained valuable professional experience through a prestigious internship with the Los Angeles Chargers, further expanding her skills at the highest level of athletic performance. Currently, she is pursuing certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Certified Sports Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
A lifelong athlete, Collier has represented her country on the U.S. Virgin Islands Women’s National Soccer Team since age 13. She is also the founder of Virgin Island Violinist, a music business offering live violin performances and lessons for weddings, events, and private clients.
With a vision for the future, Collier intends to bring advanced athletic training services back to the Virgin Islands and establish a state-of-the-art sportsplex to serve local athletes and elevate access to quality care. Her work reflects a deep passion for health, performance, and the empowerment of her community through both sport and the arts.
