Nadia Alexander-Pompey has built an accomplished career as both a collegiate coach and decorated student-athlete.
As an athlete at Louisiana Tech (2005–09), Alexander-Pompey was a three-time WAC indoor and two-time outdoor shot put champion, leading the Lady Techsters to nine conference titles. She still holds school records in the shot put both indoors and outdoors and was a dominant force at major meets like the Penn Relays.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech and a master's in sport management from Virginia State University.
Alexander-Pompey became head coach of the men's and women's track & field and cross country programs at Lindenwood University in 2022, where her athletes quickly made an impact — including producing the OVC Cross Country Female Freshman of the Year, 10 conference medalists, and a school record in the 400m.
Before Lindenwood, she held coaching positions at Louisiana Tech, Florida A&M, Mississippi Valley State, Shaw University, Lincoln University, and Virginia State. Across those stops, her athletes earned NCAA All-American honors, USTFCCCA academic recognition, and numerous conference titles. She also guided multiple NCAA qualifiers and helped teams break several school records.
