Randall Moore

Randall Moore was named Director of Football Strength & Conditioning at Bethune-Cookman in January 2026. Moore oversees all aspects of strength, conditioning, speed, and performance development for the Wildcats football program while working closely with the football coaching staff, athletic training staff, and student-athletes to enhance performance and reduce injury risk. In addition to designing and implementing training programs, he manages the daily operations of the football weight training facility and assists with football prospect camps and pro day testing.

Moore arrived in Daytona Beach after serving as Director of Football Strength & Conditioning at Southern University from 2024–26. While with the Jaguars, he designed and implemented comprehensive strength, conditioning, speed, and agility programs for the football program while also developing recovery and nutrition strategies. He tracked performance metrics including strength numbers, body weight, and conditioning data, and worked closely with the football coaching staff and athletic trainers to monitor athlete development. During his tenure, Southern captured the SWAC West Division title and Bayou Classic championship in 2024 and again won the Bayou Classic in 2025.

Prior to Southern, Moore served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with Driven Elite LLC, working primarily with football at Delaware State University. In that role, he helped prepare student-athletes for the demands of Division I competition by implementing performance training programs that included weight training, speed development, agility drills, and conditioning.

Moore has also held several leadership roles in collegiate strength and conditioning, including serving as Head Football Strength & Conditioning Coach at Hampton University and Director of Strength & Conditioning at Norfolk State University, where he oversaw strength and conditioning programs for multiple varsity teams. Earlier in his career, he spent more than three years as Student-Athlete Health & Wellness Coordinator at Mississippi Valley State University, directing strength and conditioning and wellness initiatives for multiple sports programs.

Moore previously served as Director of Strength & Conditioning at Shorter University and Director of Peak Performance and Fitness at Allegheny College, where he helped establish and develop strength and conditioning programs for multiple varsity teams.

A graduate of Oakland University, Moore earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a concentration in exercise science in 2011. He is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT), and USA Weightlifting. Moore was also a member of the Oakland University men’s track and field team, competing as a sprinter and helping set the school record in the 4x100-meter relay.

Randall and his wife, Fantashia, are actively involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where Fantashia serves as a collegiate representative. The couple has one daughter, Mylah Grace Moore, who will turn two years old in July.
