Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. -
Bethune-Cookman College sophomore men's golfer Carl Corbin hit his first collegiate hole-in-one on Friday morning at 10:27 a.m. at the Mission Inn Resort at Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.
In a tournament hosted by Winthrop University, the sophomore finesse hitter from England approached the tee-box like any other day at the Mission Inn Resort. His shot from the eighth hole, par 3 went the perfect distance of 165 yards right into the hole, as stated by B-CC head coach Dr. Gary Freeman.
Corbin finished 24th overall two weeks ago at the Sea Trail Men's Intercollegiate in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. He finished fourth overall at the B-CC Fall Invitational at the start of the season.
