Daytona Beach, Fla. -
Bethune-Cookman College volleyball is set to begin this weekend at two different venues for what is expected to be an exciting season for all involved. For the first time in three years, the Wildcats will not be competing in a tournament, but rather a three-team tri-match in Charleston, South Carolina.
Head coach Vanessa Cogswell enters her third year at the helm of the Wildcats volleyball program as she leads her team into a tri-match at The Citadel on Saturday afternoon in Charleston, S.C. The `Cats will be playing Savannah State (1 p.m.) in the first match, followed by The Citadel (3 p.m.). Bethune-Cookman will then play at South Carolina State in a non-conference match-up on Sunday at 3 p.m. This is the first year that Cogswell has had the services of an assistant coach by her side, especially one with All-Conference honors as a former player in Brian Goodhind.
