Stetson University beat Bethune-Cookman University Tuesday night in non-conference volleyball with a 3-1 win, completing a two-match sweep this season over the Lady Wildcats.

B-CU (8-14) was paced by Daniel Goodrum's 12 kills and 19 digs double-double performance. The Lady Wildcats won the second set 25-23 to tie the match at 1-1, before the Hatters won the final two sets 25-22, 25-21 for their fourth victory of 2008.

Chelle Ticeson contributed 11 kills offensively for B-CU and setter Julie Gibson had a double-double night too with 40 assists and 11 digs.

The Lady Wildcats are on the road this weekend back in MEAC play before returning home for their final home match of the 2008 season - Senior Night - Nov. 7 - with the match site and time TBA. please check the B-CU website - www.bccathletics.com for match details next week.
