Final Stats

Stetson University (2-9) came from behind and beat Bethune-Cookman University (2-10) in five sets - winning 25-23, 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-12.
 
B-CU led 2 sets to 1 and 23-18 in the fourth set before the Hatters fought back with seven straight points to win the fourth set 25-23, and force the deciding fifth set. Stetson won the 5th set 15-12, for the non-conference victory. 
 
Match stat leaders for Stetson were Rebecca Orzechowicz with 10 kills and setter Jennica Hagberg with 38 assists. 

B-CU was led by Chelle Ticeson with 18 kills and 7 blocks. Setter Julie Gibson registered 47 assists. The Wildcats' Shakhea Moore-Hagins led all players with 22 digs. 
 
Bethune-Cookman University volleyball will next be in action Sept. 30 hosting North Florida at 6 p.m. in Moore Gymnasium.
