GREENSBORO, N.C. - Jessica Wilson led a balanced Bethune-Cookman University offense Friday night at the Lady Cats  defeated North Carolina A&T 3-0 (25-18,25-14,25-19) in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match.

Though the Aggies made the first strike to open the match, building an early lead on the LadyCats in the first set, B-CU fought back from five points down to claim the lead by mid-set. From there, they never gave up the lead, doubling up on the Aggies for the 25-18 win.

Only one tie at 1-1 separated the LadyCats from leading wire to wire in the second set, turning several small spurts into the 11-point victory to gain the upper hand in the match.

In the third, the Aggies pushed out early again, and the LadyCats were quick to respond, taking the lead at 9-8 and never looking back. The LadyCats passed the ball well and stayed on top of N.C. A&T mistakes to finish up the match and season sweep of the Aggies with a 25-19 win.

Jessica Wilson finished with eight kills and eight digs to top the kill charts for B-CU, while Kat Agson (.545 hitting) each had seven kills and Kaiyana Johnson six as B-CU (7-20 overall, 2-3 MEAC) posted the regular season sweep of the Aggies. Jacqueline Woodyear finished with nine digs.

The LadyCats hit the road immediately, playing matches on consecutive days as they travel to USC Upstate on Saturday afternoon.
