SAVANNAH, Ga. – With Willie Mack III and Alex Clapp 1-2 in the individual standings, Bethune-Cookman holds the lead at the Savannah State University Invitational after the first round.

B-CU (308) is six shots ahead of Fayetteville State (314) and seven of Savannah State (315) entering Sunday's final round.

Mack took the lead with a 33 on the back nine as he finished with a one-under par 70. Clapp parred 14 of 18 holes as he finished with a 73. Zack Sheets of Winston-Salem State is three back at 75.

Emanuel Petrich (81) is tied for 15th, Jerrell Parrish (84) is tied for 21st and Jamichael Jones (87) is tied for 24th.
