Daytona Beach, Fla. – The Wright State University men's tennis team defeated the Wildcats in a match Monday afternoon, 6-1.
The match started off with a tight match for the doubles point At #1 and No. 6 Doubles, Wildcats Emil Vassilev and Kristofer Martin / Nick Camilleri/ Mihkel Kruusmagi and nationally ranked brothers Landon Neuman /Evan Neuman The No. 2 duo also fought hard to gain a victory against the Raiders, but WSU rallied to win the 8-7(6).
The Bethune-Cookman men's tennis team got a singles victory from freshman Kip Jackson defeating opponent Evan Newman 4-6, 6-1, 10-6, but the Wildcats dropped five singles matches in a 6-1 loss against Wright State on Monday, March 22.
Senior Wildcat, Landon Neuman with a final score of 7-6 (4) 6-2.
The Wildcat men's and women's teams will next be in competition on Friday, March 26 against Kennesaw State University in Daytona Beach at City Island Tennis Center.
