The Trojans scored all nine runs in the second inning and went on to beat the Wildcats 9-4 to win the three-game weekend series 2-1.
Troy (5-5) scored nine runs in the second on five hits and three B-CU errors led to three un-earned runs in the frame. Freshman RHP Gabriel Hernandez pitched 1.2 innings and he allowed six runs and four hits to take the loss.
Joseph Munoz pitched 2.1 innings in relief, Patrick Goelz threw 2.1 scoreless innings, Chris Anselmo 0.2, and Juan Perez piched an inning as B-CU relievers threw six straight scoreless innings.
C. J. Lauriello hit his first home run of the season and the B-CU offense out-hit Troy 10-9 in the game.

Wildcats Back Home For Wagner Game March 10, B-CU Invitational March 12-14
Bethune-Cookman returns to Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Wednesday, March 10 for a 6 p.m. vs. Wagner College. The 2010 B-CU Invitational is set for March 12-14 at Jackie Robinson with Wagner, Virginia Commonwealth, and B-CU competing in round robin play. B-CU plays a doubleheader Friday, March 12 vs. Wagner at 2:30 and vs. VCU at 6 p.m. to open the Invitational.
