SUNSET BEACH, N.C. -- Bethune-Cookman's Willie Mack fired a three-under par 69 in Sunday's final round of the Sea Trail Intercollegiate tournament, helping the senior finish in a tie for sixth.
After par rounds on Friday and Saturday, Mack's Sunday round put him three-under par (213) for the tournament. B-CU finished 11th in the 12-team men's competition while the women's team was tenth in a ten-team field.
James Hall (76-77-75-228) came in 56th and Jamichael Jones (74-73-84-231) tied for 64th.
For the B-CU women, Kimberly Wong (80-74-75-229) finished tied for 12 while Yanessa Adame (75-76-79-230) tied for 14th. Marie Berglin (80-82-88-250) tied for 44th and Maxine Gardner (93-99-94-286) tied for 51th.
Host Elon swept both team titles, with Elon's Tara McFadden posting a one-under-par 215 (73-69-73) to take the women's medalist honor while High Point's Chase Wilson finished with a 10-under-par 206 for the men's top honors.
