B-CU Golfers Cut 24 Shots Off Team Score at Lady Falcon Invitational

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Sunday was a day of improvement for the Bethune-Cookman University women's golf at the Lady Falcon Invitational hosted by Daytona State College at LPGA International. All four Lady Wildcat posted lower scores in their second round as the team shaved 24 strokes of its opening round total of 349, finishing Sunday with a 325.

B-CU finished eleventh in the tournament with a two-day of 674, 66 shots behind champion Florida Southern.

Andrea Orozco had the low card for B-CU on both Sunday and the tournament. She posted a 77 in her final round - a seven shot improvement over Saturday - and finished tied for 25th with a 161.

Patrizia Trevisan's 81 on Sunday was B-CU's best improvement after she fired an 89 Saturday. She came in tied for 45th with a 170.

Jennifer Hide (171, tied for 47th) improved three shots and Marie Bergelin (172, tied for 51st) cut six off her opening round.
