BALTIMORE -- Janeen Davis posted her second double-double in as many matches, but Bethune-Cookman dropped a 3-1 (25-19, 17-25, 25-19, 25-13) decision to host Coppin State Sunday.

Davis, a senior, had 16 kills and 11 digs in addition to a season-high three service aces.

Krysta Gardner added 12 kills and nine digs for B-CU (3-22) while Monica Lowe had 33 assists and Jennifer Jimenez 21 digs to go over the 800 career dig mark.

Freshmen Delicia Pierre and Phylecia Armstrong each added four kills, with Armstrong registering four block assists.

Ariel Richard led four Coppin State (9-10) players  in double figures with 13 kills.

B-CU concludes its Baltimore swing Monday night at Morgan State.
