North Carolina Central handed the B-CU women a 6-1
Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference setback while the Wildcat men took a 4-0
non-conference loss to Georgia Southern Sunday.

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Wildcats (5-6) dropped their second
straight match in as many days as the Eagles (5-3) controlled the match at
Hanner Tennis Complex.
The match was ended as soon as Georgia Southern registered
its fourth point. Santiago Lobelo was tied with Marco Osorio at 4-4 when play
was suspended. Earlier, the No. 3 doubles team of Moritz Pronath/Gilbert Rotich
was tied at 6-5 with Oliver Webb/Carson Jones when the match was called
after Georgia Southern claimed the other two matches for the doubles points.

Beresiarte registered Bethune-Cookman's lone point as the Lady Wildcats fell to
6-4 overall and 1-1 in MEAC play.

point.
