The Wildcats (2-19 overall, 0-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) are looking to snap their 17-game losing streak and extend a Hawk (2-14,0-4) road losing streak to 30 consecutive games. B-CU

B-CU UPDATE: The Wildcats dropped overtime games at Savannah State and South Carolina State last weekend … Maurice Taylor has scored 35 points in the last two games, including a career-high 20 against South Carolina State … Mikel Trapp leads the team with an average of 10.7 points per game…. Clemmye Owens has been in double figures five straight games.

SUITS AND SNEAKERS AWARENESS WEEKEND:  The reason why Coach Gravelle Craig and staff are wearing sneakers? They're joining coaches nationwide in an effort  to fight cancer and raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

BACK IN THE DAY:  (1999): Freddie Cole had 19 points, Charles Allen 15 and Johnny McClenton 14 as the Wildcats downed the Bison. McClenton was 6-7 from the field and Allen 4-5 from three-point range as the Wildcats outshot Howard 58 percent to 40 percent from the field.

CATS OVERSEAS:  PAPE BA (2004) is averaging 9.9 points and 5.8 rebounds through 17 games for Vaerlose BBK in Denmark.
