DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman won its second straight match with a 6-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's Tuesday at City Island Tennis Center.
Walid Gtari, Kevin Deligny and Gilbert Rotich each won at both singles and doubles as the Wildcats improved to 3-5.
Mount St. Mary's (4-2) tied the match at 1-1 with its lone victory at No. 2 singles, but Rotich's victory put the Wildcats ahead for good, ending with Pablo Lopez' lengthy 7-6,7-6 victory at No. 6 singles to conclude the day's play.
Deligny and Gtari improved to 4-2 as a doubles tandem.
Bethune-Cookman hosts Detroit Thursday.
