DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats travel to North Carolina Central this weekend for a three-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) series with the Eagles at Durham Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina. The series gets underway with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11, beginning at 1 p.m.
Bethune-Cookman (13-24, 11-4 MEAC) enters the weekend atop the southern division of the MEAC, having won its last four consecutive MEAC series against NCCU, North Carolina A&T, Savannah State and Florida A&M, respectively. In all, B-CU has won nine of its last 10 conference games dating back to March 8.
The Wildcats enter Durham with three players hovering around a batting average of .300 on the campaign, including freshman Jameel Edney at a .296 clip. Behind him is Nathan Bond (.295) and Jordan Robinson (.293). However, in conference play it has been Austin Garcia leading the Maroon and Gold with a .368 average, followed by Edney (.333) and redshirt freshman shortstop Demetrius Sims (.310).
On the mound, Keith Zuniga leads the Cats with a 4-3 record, and an ERA of 2.25. He is followed by closer Clint Clymer who has a league-leading six saves on the campaign, sporting an ERA of 2.25.

• Cummings has collected a hit in a team-leading eight games, while teammates Jameel Edney (13 games) and Jordan Robinson (11 games) had their streaks stopped last weekend at Florida A&M.
• In MEAC play, a total of five Wildcats are batting above .300 on the season.
• Jordan Robinson leads the team with three home runs and 23 RBI.
• After beginning the season 0-10, B-CU has responded with six wins in its last 10 contests – including a win against FIU and a series sweep of Savannah State.
• The Maroon and Gold dropped its only game of the midweek this past week, a 3-2 setback at North Florida.
