ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Bethune-Cookman volleyball made it three-straight victories as the Wildcats took down Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference foe South Carolina State, 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-22) on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Dukes Gymnasium in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

After a slow start the Wildcats were able to keep their win-streak alive, making it three straight and winning nine of the last 10 sets.

Delicia Pierre led the B-CU offense finishing with a match-best 18 kills on 34 attempts (.382) while senior setter Hazel Ortiz Rosado dished a team-high 27 assists.

In addition to Pierre, Rakaya Neely added six kills on 12 attempts (.333) while Phylecia Armstrong added five kills with no errors (.714).

Defensively, Normarie Rolon earned 11 digs while Neely added four blocks.

B-CU returned to the hardwood on Tuesday, Sept. 29 as the Wildcats host UNF at 7 p.m.
