DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – Bethune-Cookman volleyball finishes its non-conference slate as the Wildcats travel to FGCU to take on the Eagles in a 7 p.m., road match in Fort Myers, Florida at Alico Arena.
 
BCU
The 7-18 Wildcats have five conference sweeps over N.C. Central and South Carolina State and Savannah State twice with two non-conference victories over Morgan State and Tulane.
 
Two-time MEAC Rookie of the Week, Alana Handy, currently leads the Wildcat offense with 3.00 per set, while posting eight kill/dig double-doubles this season. Phylecia Armstrong set a program record with a .750 hitting percentage against Tulane, recording 15 kills with zero errors on 20 attempts giving her the second-best percentage in the nation. Armstrong ranks third on the team with 2.00 kills per set and leads the team with 85 total blocks.
 
On the defensive end, Normaire Rolon Soto has collected a team-best 273 digs (3.29 dps), while Phalen Clark and while J'nai Higgins have split the setting responsibility with 394 (6.35 aps) and 385 (5.35 aps) assists respectively.
 
FGCU
The 20-3 Eagles are paced by Amanda Carroll's 4.43 kills per set.
 
Defensively, Courtney Stephens picks up 4.04 digs per set as Daniele Serrano has a total of 61 blocks on the season.
