DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – Bethune-Cookman volleyball finishes its 2016 regular-season schedule as the Wildcats welcome North Carolina A&T Friday, Nov. 4 and North Carolina Central for "Senior Day" on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Seniors Jill Arlaud, Phylecia Armstrong, Asjha Davie, Normarie Rolon Soto, Alexas Thomas and Laurne Turner will be honored prior to Sunday's match against NCCU.

BCU
The 7-20 Wildcats have five conference sweeps over N.C. Central and twice  over South Carolina State and Savannah State with two non-conference victories over Morgan State and Tulane.

Two-time MEAC Rookie of the Week, Alana Handy, currently leads the Wildcat offense with 3.30 per set, while posting nine kill/dig double-doubles this season. Phylecia Armstrong set a program record with a .750 hitting percentage against Tulane, recording 15 kills with zero errors on 20 attempts giving her the second-best percentage in the nation. Armstrong ranks third on the team with 2.03 kills per set and leads the team with 89 total blocks.

On the defensive end, Normaire Rolon Soto has collected a team-best 307 digs (3.37 dps), while Phalen Clark and while J'nai Higgins have split the setting responsibility with 460 (6.76 aps) and 409 (5.38 aps) assists respectively.

NCAT
The 10-11 Aggies are led by Samara Brown's 3.51 kills per set.

Defensively, Keniah Rivera picks up 3.71 digs per set as Jasmine Lindor has a total of 75 blocks on the season.

NCCU
The 5-14 Eagles have been led all season by Whitney White and Kelsey Murphy's 2.65 and 2.37 kills per set.

On the defensive end, Murphy picks up a team-best 2.24 digs per set while White has totaled 42 blocks on the season.

• Normarie Rolon Soto moved into first place in BCU history on Tuesday, Oct. 4 when her 16 digs passed Jennifer Jimenez' Bethune-Cookman record of 1,186.
• J'nai Higgins was named to the Bulldog Invitational All-Tournament Team (Sept. 17-18).
• Alondra Bautista earned MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors (Sept. 5).
• Phylecia Armstrong broke the BCU record for hitting percentage in a match after hitting .750 (15-0-20).
• Armstrong earned All-Tournament honors at both the FAU Invitational (Aug. 26-27) and the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tournament (Sept. 2-3).
