MIAMI -- Bethune-Cookman's first road game of the 2017-18 season has the two-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference regular season champions taking on Florida International Monday at 7 p.m. in Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
The Lady Wildcats opened their season with a 101-60 victory over Edward Waters Friday behind 28 points from junior
Angel Golden while FIU dropped a 77-69 decision at No. 24 Miami.
It's the first meeting between the teams since Bill Clinton was President (1992). FIU leads the series 10-2. Bethune-Cookman's last win in the series was in 1984. The first was in 1978 in the FIAW state tournament semifinals.
After this, Bethune-Cookman will return home for games Nov. 20 against Prairie View A&M and Nov. 26 against Southeastern Louisiana.

Vanessa Blair-Lewis will go for her 250th overall career coaching victory Monday night. Blair-Lewis is in her tenth season at B-CU after spending nine season at her alma mater, Mount St. Mary's.
