DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Sophomore
Jose Plazas won both his doubles and singles matches in Bethune-Cookman's 5-2 DaytonaDay loss to Stetson Sunday at City Island.
Bethune-Cookman  (0-6) captured the doubles points after wins from the teams of Plazas and
Juan Diego Ruiz and
Alvaro Barrera and
David Ocampo, but the Hatters (5-3) rallied by taking five of the six singles matches.
Plazas registered the lone Wildcat win at No. 2 singles over Graham Bell, 6-7, 6-3, 10-8.
Bethune-Cookman returns to action Saturday at Georgia Southern.
